New Star Wars Game Coming In 2019 From EA

A new Star Wars video game will be released in late 2019. The new game will be called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The news was anounced by both EA and Respawn Entertainment at E3. The game will take place not long after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The player is put in the position of a Padawan learner that must fight to survive Order 66.

Disney seems set on filling in events that happen between episodes three and four, with Rebels, SoloRogue One, and now Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order all crammed into that small time period, though Jon Favreau’s upcoming live-action series is to be set seven years after Return of the Jedi. Having said that, the premise of the game does sound pretty cool, the idea of being in control of a Jedi that is being hunted could be a lot of fun.

This type of game is much more my speed nowadays, as I am not as big of a gamer as I once was. I would rather leisurely play through a story mode as opposed to the online chaos in a game like Star Wars: Battlefront. This game should be a nice change of pace for Star Wars gamers.
