New Titans Clip Shows Beast Boy’s Transformation Powers

Yesterday a new image for the upcoming DC Universe’s streaming service show Titans was released with our heroes looking ready to go into battle. With the world premiere of the first episode about a week away at this year’s New York Comic Con it would make sense that we might start seeing more images and clips.

For example, Entertainment Weekly has got an exclusive clip that finally shows off Beast Boy’s transformation power. In the clip we see Beast Boy aka Gar Logan, played by Ryan Potter, transforming back from a Tiger, which he mentions is his favorite animal to change into. Also we learn that one small issue he has with his power is that he loses his clothes when transforms.  By the looks of the clip we will be seeing a lot of Beast Boy as a tiger, but it will be interesting to see how many other animals he transforms into.

Executive producer Geoff Johns spoke with Entertainment Weekly about Beast Boy.
“We’ll meet him with another surrogate family, and we’ll see why he would choose to get involved with the Titans — or Dick and Rachel, specifically. He’s a fun character. He’s one of the best characters to write. I love writing Gar, and Ryan Potter plays him amazingly well.” Along with Johns, Akiva Goldsman and Greg Berlanti will serve as executive producer for the show.
