From the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama came Disenchantment, the satirical fantasy sitcom that debuted on Netflix last year in August with the release of 10 of the 20 episodes that were originally ordered. Now the second batch of episodes are set to be released on September 20th. The series takes place in the medieval fantasy kingdom called Dreamland, which is home to the rebellious princess Bean, her now deceased elf companion Elfo and her personal demon Luci. Today Netflix released a trailer for part two of Disenchantment as well as key art. You can check out the trailer above and the artwork below!

As we can see, it seems that like in most franchises, dead doesn’t really mean dead. It looks like there might be a way to bring back Elfo to life, which by the looks of his comfort in heaven might actually be a bad thing. But in order to do this, Princess Bean and Luci are going to have to go through hell to try and save him and in the process also save Dreamland.

Check out the description provided by Netflix:
Launching last year, Disenchantment instantly whisked audiences away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland. There, they followed the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio encountered ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.
Picking up where we left off, Disenchantment Part Two delves deeper into the un-fairytale’s mythology and explores faraway worlds well beyond Dreamland. But one question remains: Have we really seen the last of the beloved Elfo?

Disenchantment is executive produced by Matt Groening and Josh Weinstein. It features the voices of Abbi Jacobson, who voices Bean, Eric Andre who voices Luci and Nat Faxon who voices Elfo. Joining them are John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding and Lucy Montgomery.
