This week Valiant Entertainment will release the second issue of the Ninjak Vs. The Valiant Universe. The four-part mini series that is supposed to complement the web series that is being developed by Bat in the Sun, who are well known for their Super Power Beat Down series. The screen story is by Aaron Schoenke and the comic book is written by Eliot Rahal with artwork by Joe Bennett.

In this second issue, we find Ninjak on the run now that he has been forced to betray his friends and country to save his friend’s family from Roku. Because of the severity of the situation, MI6 has no choice but to call in Unity to take down Ninjak and retrieve Asset 147. See what happens when Ninjak comes face to face with the likes of Bloodshot, The Eternal Warrior, and X-O Manowar. Check out the covers and preview pages below!

It’s a very entertaining book that really has me looking forward to the upcoming web series. Knowing Ninjak’s amazing abilities and gadgets, it’s really cool to see him going head to head with some of Valiant’s best heroes. My only concern is how much of the content of the comic book are we going to see in the web series, will it all be repeated in live action? Or will the web series contain more information?

Speaking of the web series Bat in the Sun were promoting this book on their Instagram page and in their original post said, “And live action series debuts in April!!!” But since then the caption has been changed leaving that extra information out. Could it be that someone jumped the gun? Check out the modified post below! It will be interesting to see if because of this we get an announcement soon. Personally, I think that it has been long overdue anyway.
