Last week we received details of the Deadpool 2 Blu-Ray release. Among them was a deleted scene titled, “Chess with Omega Red.”As it turns out, Omega Red wasn’t the only character hiding in the film, and now Bill Corso, makeup designer on the film, took to his Instagram account to show off all the mutants fans may have missed during Deadpool 2’s Icebox scenes.

“To celebrate the Comic-Con showing of our special, Mega Fan only, ‘Deadpool 2: the Unrated Cut’, I’ve decided to show the, blink and you’ll miss them, Mutant Villains of the Ice Box Prison. Some characters from the Marvel Universe hidden here are Omega Red, and various others from sifting through the FOX approved X-Men Universe.”

Omega Red Dakoda Shepley

Omega Red is played by New York Jets football player, Dakoda Shepley (you can see him in full makeup in the photo above). The athlete recently spoke with The New York Post and talked about playing the character.

“It was certainly really cool. I can’t imagine being a full-time actor and being a full-time football player. The days I was there, even as an extra, I was there from 7 am to midnight. Where am I going to work out? I’d have no time to train. It’s definitely something I’d like to pursue after football, whenever that may be.”

These are some of the wonderful little extras that get us all to buy the home releases of films. Deadpool 2 comes to digital August 7, and will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray August 21.
