There are few filmmakers out there who can romanticize an era in filmmaking like Quentin Tarantino can. Scratch that, there are virtually no filmmakers out there who can romanticize an era in filmmaking like him, because while others may actually portray the warm fuzzy feelings of decades past, you can count on Tarantino to look at the era from a different perspective.
Of course, he’d be someone to look back at 1969 with his new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and cover one of the many shocking aspects of the year, including the Manson murders, which led to the death of Roman Polanski’s wife, Sharon Tate. We’ve known for some time that the story would involve her in some way, and we’ve also known that Margot Robbie would portray the model and actress, who only lived to age 26.
Now, Robbie has taken to Instagram to show off her look, and we have to way, it’s spot-on.

Shooting has been underway on this film for some time already. In addition to this photo, we’ve seen glimpses of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, playing the role of an aging Western star and his stunt double. These images really do show the deft and care which Tarantino and co. are taking to make the actors look era-appropriate.
