We here at LRM have thus far loved what we’ve seen from the Power Rangers trailer thus far. They’ve somehow managed to take a concept that’s not easily adapted and turned it into something we, as adults, are eagerly awaiting. It seems like the perfect blend for the franchise. Yes, it’s more serious than its source material, but it’s not going to take itself too seriously. After all, this is a wish fulfillment type of story with a bunch of kids who get superpowers. How serious can it get?

It hasn’t been so long since we got the second trailer for the flick, but we’re already getting a third and (probably) final trailer for the movie. While this one clocks it in at around a minute long (dramatically shorter than the other ones), it has a whole lot more action in it. Sure, it comes a bit at the expense of the story, but it clearly assumes you now have some familiarity with what they’re showing. As such, they’re using this final opportunity to show off some of the big action beats we can expect in the upcoming Power Rangers movie.

Below is the official synopsis for Power Rangers:

“SABAN’S POWER RANGERS follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove — and the world — is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.”

The thoughts I had are captured in the video above, but what do you think? Did you like what they had to offer in this final outing? Let us know in the comments down below!

Power Rangers hits theaters on March 24, 2017!
