Production on the ninth entry into the Fast and Furious franchise has been stopped due to an accident where a stuntman was injured. Unfortunately this is not ncommon on films with such intense and complex action sequence. A spokesman for the studio had the following to say about the situation.
“We had an injury on the set of Fast 9 today in Leavesden with one of our stuntmen. We have halted production for the day to focus on this situation.”
No further details were provided on the incident and no length was given as to how long the production would be halted.

The film should follow suit with the franchise’s previous installments and be a ridiculously over-the-top action film, and I say that in a good way, as that’s the reason most or all of us watch these films. The biggest name joining the cast of the popular franchise this time around is WWE wrestler turned actor John Cena, who will be a nice addition to an already entertaining lineup.
