Promo Artworks and Backstory for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

In just four months, The Avengers will confront Ultron on the big screen in the anticipated sequel “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

And in mighty fashion, the promo artworks were released on Reddit and Superhero Hype forums.

But first, let’s look at the backstory to Ultron.

On Reddit, the Ultron artwork revealed that he was a “simple computer program hidden among the ruines of the Chitauri invasion of New York.” It appears Tony Stark experimented with the artificial intelligence and ends up with the never-ending desire to destroy the human race.

In the artwork profile for Vision, the artificial intelligent being is created by Stark and Bruce Banner to counteract and battle Ultron.

Of course, the backstory is very different from the comics, in which Hank Pym created Ultron. No matter. The movie will still be awesome.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” will star Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson and James Spader.

It will be released on May 1st next year.
