Roiland hashtagged his tweet with #theydrawingit, implying that work on the fourth season may already be underway. That is a large order of episodes, judging by past seasons, in the world of Rick and Morty that should transfer into about six or seven seasons. As popular as the show is, I was wondering why it was taking so long to get a renewal for a fourth season. The show has always taken extended hiatuses between seasons, and the fourth season should prove to be no different. So hang tight folks. No official release date has been announced.
