Super genius Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith return later this year for more interdimensional shenanigans in the long-awaited fourth season. It’s been a long time coming for Rick and Morty fans, as it will be roughly two years since the end of Season 3.
To hold fans over AdultSwim has released a clip of the upcoming season, it features Morty, his father Jerry, and a guest star who ever since he directed Thor: Ragnarok, has become somewhat of a hosuehold name, at least in nerd households, Taika Waititi (What We Do In The Shadows and his contributions to Flight of the Conchords). As you can see in the video above Morty and Jerry are running some sort of app company, and have an alien as an intern that is voiced by Taika Waititi. It appears that Waititi’s alien character has doublecrossed Morty and Jerry in one ay or another, and Morty is fed up.
