Everyone’s favorite space, time, dimensional, and pretty much everything else under the sun-hopping duo are headed back to the small screen. It’s been nearly two years since audiences had their Rick and Morty fix (and the same amount of time since Pickle Rick became an annoying meme), and if you’ve been chomping at the bit for more science-bending adventures, you’ll have six more months to wait.

Variety recently reported that the show’s elusive fourth season was announced the show’s return during the WarnerMedia upfront presentation in New York. And if that wasn’t official enough for you, Adult Swim actually went and posted an announcement on their Twitter account. You can check that out down below!

I have to admit, I ain’t the biggest fan of the series, but I do appreciate the way it’s been handled by Adult Swim. Rather than having it be a more traditional series with its Fall and Spring seasons, they essentially have been giving the showrunners free rein to put out content when ready. As such, the gaps between seasons has been extensive, and it helps to make each season a kind of event for fans.
