Ron Howard Begins Voice Work For Arrested Development Season 5

Now that he has finished the Star Wars Anthology film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Ron Howard is back at work, lending his voice to narrate the lives of perhaps the most dysfunctional family on television, the Bluths. Howard made the news known via a post on his Twitter page. You can check out the post below:

The Netflix revival didn’t seem to have the same magic as the show’s original three season run on Fox, however, it was some new Arrested Development, and that is always a good thing. Fans of the show always felt shortchanged by the series being cancelled and were thirsty for some new Bluth adventures, so the Netflix revival was welcomed by most.

I think part of the problem was the format used that largely saw episodes dedicated to a single character, and as everyone knows the Bluths are always better when interacting with each other. So, hopefully the show will return to the format of its first three seasons.

Howard has narrated the beloved show from the beginning, even though he wasn’t always intended todo so. He fell into the gig while simply filling in for the pilot and the show-runners decided to keep him.
