Rumored Details For Doctor Strange 2 And Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

It looks like the two MCU movies that will be released in 2020 will be Black Widow and The Eternals. As for 2021, well we think we are looking at Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. As yet we know very little about any of these upcoming movies, even those first two mentioned for next year.

However, today we may just have our first glimpse at some potential details for both Doctor Strange 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Roger Wardell has shared some details about both movies on social media and whilst we could easily dismiss this as guesswork, we also have to appreciate that Wardell’s information about Avengers: Endgame actually came true and seemed to be very genuine. Of course, this is all rumor until we hear something more official, but it does seem like solid information from where I am sitting. Check it out.

Now I don’t know too much about Doctor Strange characters I have to admit as he was never a favorite of mine in the comics growing up, so I’m not fully sure how cool this information is for Doctor Strange 2. I am interested in the Ancient One making an appearance somehow. The Ancient One is, of course, dead and with no Time Stone to help, it seems unlikely Strange would visit her in the past, but hey, it’s magic, so who knows?

With regards to Guardians 3, well I think that sounds really interesting. The High Evolutionary is a perfect character to be the creator of Rocket, and it’ll be cool to have the focus on his backstory instead of Quill’s this time. No mention of whether Thor will be joining them, or whether they will find the out of time version of Gamora.

What I do find interesting is the possibility of a connection developing between Nebula and Quill, that seems very crazy on first thought, but it could drive a wedge in between Nebula and Gamora again. Another way of looking at it is that the Gamora Quill loved is dead and won’t be coming back. Quill loves that version of Gamora with the shared experiences they have, and Gamora doesn’t even know Quill. Now, if Gamora was into Thor that would make for some real tension within the Guardians next time out. And I am assuming this doesn’t just mean ‘friend-zone’ connection, but that’s a big assumption on my part I’ll admit.
