Solo: A Star Wars Story – New TV Spot Reveal What ‘Solo Is’

With the film sitting at 71 percent on RottenTomatoesSolo: A Star Wars Story is yet to be certified fresh. While the reviews are mostly positive, the film can’t seem to quite get to the mark needed to be fresh. Today comes a new TV spot for the film, featuring reviews. You can check out the new video at the top of this article. It’s hard to tell whether or not the video features any new footage from the film as it moves pretty fast displaying quotes from people were lucky enough to see the film early.

As most of you already know, the film had a troubled production, and Ron Howard was brought in to replace original directors, Phil Lord and Chis Miller, whose vision of the film turned out to be vastly different from what Lucasfilm was looking for. Regardless of the film’s production problems, Lucasfilm still managed to hit the film’s original release date of May 25, and considering everything that went on, that is quite impressive. With most of my bitterness from The Last Jedi gone, I will be heading to the theater this weekend to watch a younger version of everyone’s favorite smuggler in action.
