Behold a brief but interesting Superbowl TV spot for Avengers: Endgame that was shown during the game.
The newest teaser trailer still doesn’t reveal very much about the story at all and seems like it consists of footage from the first 30 minutes of the movie at most. We are shown a glimpse of the world post snap, with empty stadiums and support groups for those that have lost family and friends. It certainly looks like Cap is present at this support group, as seen in the screen grab above.
We also get to see Tony and Nebula, now confirmed to be together on that spaceship trying to repair something or other. Then we have Cap’s pretty chilling voice over as quoted in the title above. The team are all shown here and for the first time we get to see Rocket and War Machine. We also see Rocket going through a door in what some fans are speculating is Thanos retirement farm, but I don’t think that’s clear enough to say for certain. Also if you look closely enough you’ll see Rocket is wearing his comic accurate suit in this shot, which is pretty cool right?
No one looks happy and the group of heroes seem to be suited up and ready for a new mission. I am very curious about what they are all looking at in the shot captured below. Could this be the return of Tony Stark?
I’m personally loving the less is more approach so far to Avengers: Endgame, it feels like the bulk of the movie is being kept from us and that’s a good thing. Whilst we can predict a lot about this movie from toy leaks and set photo’s the average audience member is going to have no idea at all where this is all going and that’s a good thing. Build the hype, but don’t show your hand. Let’s be honest, unless you simply don’t watch Marvel movies you are all seeing this in theaters on opening week of release. I genuinely hope they don’t reveal much more in any more sizeable trailers that come out before the release.
