Spider-Man: Far From Home Gets Its Release Date Moved Up

While Avengers: Endgame is currently taking center stage (and rightly so) as far as Marvel fans are concerned, we will be receiving another installment into the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Not only will we be treated to what will hopefully be another great Spider-Man film, but news has come down that the film will release a few days earlier than expected.

The film originally had a release date of July 5, but has now been moved up to July 2 most likely to better take advantage of the holiday and the days surrounding it.

Once Endgame is released,

As most of you know, Spider-Man is a borrowed character so Far From Home could likely be his last hurrah in the MCU. Though if you ask me, Sony should allow Marvel to keep using the character, not only for us fans, but Marvel has created a fantastic version of the character, one in which the majority of fans are very happy with, and a version that Sony is also benefitting from. If it ain’t broke…

An official synopsis for the film follows below.

“Peter Parker’s relaxing European vacation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Fury suddenly shows up in his hotel room. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury stop the evil Mysterio from wreaking havoc across the continent.”
