Spider-Man: Far From Home – Which Snap Caused The Rift At The Center Of The Film

If you’re excited for Spider-Man: Far From Home one person you may thank is Thanos. According to Tom Holland, it was Thanos’ snap that caused an interdimensional rift which allowed the Elementals to come through to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Holland recently spoke with cosmic, and talked about Spider-Man, Mysterio, and Thanos’ snap, you can check out what he had to say below. You can also check out the video for yourselves below.

“Mysterio in this movie is actually my new best friend. We team up together to fight these Elemental creatures because when Thanos snapped his fingers, these creatures came through the dimensional rift.”

I’m not so sure about Spidey and Mysterio being friends, at least, I don’t think they will be that way through the whole film. If the Elementals made it through, what other beings may have as well? Could this be how Marvel introduces long-estranged characters such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four (Jammer has the lastest scoop on the in the RELATED section above)? This isn’t anything that hasn’t been brought up before, but the question remains, and it seems like a convenient time for Marvel to introduce the multiverse.
