Spider-Verse Hitting Digital This Month, Will Feature Spider-Ham Short

If the box office is any indication, there are plenty of folks out there who has yet to see the excellent Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Maybe it was the odd art style. Maybe it has to do with the idea that you need to have a kid in order to see these animated films. Regardless, the good news is if this applies to you, you still have an amazing movie to see…and you won’t have to wait long.

One of the film’s producers, Chris Miller, recently took to social media to share with us the release date of the Digital and Blu-ray releases for the flick — which are 2/26 and 3/19, respectively. Yup, it looks like they really want your digital money and are willing to release it nearly a month early to just to get it. But that wasn’t all he had to share.

“It’s coming… #SpiderVerse in your home. Digital 2/26 & BluRay 3/19, featuring a Kingpin-sized ton of extras like a Spider-Ham short and more! Oh and it’s still in cinemas!”

That last part of his comments is especially important. If you haven’t seen Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse yet and it’s STILL showing at your local theaters, you may wanna skip this Digital release for now and check it out there, as it’s a movie you definitely want to enjoy on a large screen.

But if you’re a fan of Spider-Ham, be ready to shell out your hard-earned cash for that short. There’s no word on what the plot for the Spider-Ham short will be, but we’re sure there will be plenty of old-school animated shenanigans to go around.
