Star Wars ‘Crew’ TV Spot Highlights The Han-Chewie Dynamic

Han Solo and Chewbacca are besties. Not a controversial statement by any stretch of the imagination. The dudes spent decades together and were practically common law married by the time Solo met the end of the lightsaber in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was a love story that outlasted Solo’s affair with Leia, and is one for the ages.

It makes sense that the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story would have at least some focus on that. In a new TV spot, we get to see just a little bit more of that dynamic, and as an eternal skeptic of this film, I quite enjoyed it. More than anything, I really liked that long moment where he shows Chewie his hand while playing cards (way to fail at your poker face, Chewie!).
