Star Wars: Episode IX – New Leaked Details Discuss Kylo’s Visit To [SPOILER]

It goes without saying that the following post could contain leaked information for Star Wars: Episode 9 and if correct this information could be sizeable SPOILERS for the movie. So this is your obligatory SPOILER warning for the following article.

..

.

There hasn’t been much for a while in terms of new leaked information about Star Wars: Episode 9 — well, nothing that could actually be genuine, at least. We still know next to nothing about the final movie of the Star Wars sequel trilogy from Disney, though we do expect that to change this weekend when Star Wars Celebration takes place.

Today’s rumored leak comes from Reddit and whilst I have been taken in by false information on there in the past, this seems far more legit to me. The leak itself has been published by one of the moderators on the sub-reddit and the person who posted it says that the same source has given them credible information about this movie previously. However, as always, don’t take anything as truth and make your own decisions based on the info provided.

When we pick up with Kylo’s story in IX, he’s still struggling between the lights side and the dark side. IN addition to this, he’s also dealing with how to reconcile his feelings towards Rey. My source specifically referred to these feelings as a “love” for Rey. Kylo either seeks out or is summoned by a new character that is being referred to by my source as “The Oracle”, unknown whether this is a code name or a real name used.

The character appears on a swamp planet and appears to be a spider-like creature who is resting on what appears to be the head of a larger creature. Assumptions are made that perhaps this creature is feeding off of the larger creature like a parasite, though it was also pointed out that this could be instead a statue and this seems unclear.

However, the image which has been recreated on the sub reddit and you can find the thread and the image Here. It is apparently very accurate to what the leaker has seen with their own eyes. We cannot share this image where without permission and if it does turn out to be accurate then I’m sure Disney would be less than pleased. So if you want to check the picture out head on over to the thread itself for now.

Let’s be clear that while it may seem to fit, we have no evidence that this creature is connected to the Dark side of the Force, you may guess this, but that is not mentioned. It is not clear again, but the original poster seems to think this visit occurs earlier on in the movie.

I won’t try and make any major predictions with this, because as cool as the info is, it’s also got zero context. For all we know, this creature could be giving Kylo directions to the local Lightsaber Kyber crystal suppliers. But it is interesting and I do wonder how fans will react to the image? It seems a bit out there for Star Wars and I guess that’s why I actually like it.

The other surely controversial topic mentioned in this leak would be Kylo’s ‘feelings’ for Rey. I really don’t think they have done enough to make Kylo having love for Rey believable at this point. But if he does feel love then is this a possible redemptive path for Kylo? I hope not as then it will just feel like the Original trilogy all over again.
