We still have almost nothing official revealed about Star Wars: Episode 9, but there have been plenty of rumors and potential leaks recently. One of those rumored leaks showed a glimpse of a strange alien creature and fans have been wondering who or what this alien may be. According to the folks over at Bespin Bulletin, they have some more details about this creature, though it isn’t much. On the Instagram post (which we cannot link, for legal reasons), they share some context which they say has been confirmed by multiple sources. Here are those details.

“Rey meets the alien in the poster, I don’t know if she’s alone or with Poe, Finn etc. but Rey meets the alien and even though the alien itself isn’t important, this encounter leads to something much more important which is part of the evolving McGuffin in Star Wars: Episode IX.”

Again, this doesn’t tell us very much, however it does again bring up the MacGuffin. Previously we have heard rumor that a MacGuffin will help drive the plot of Star Wars: Episode 9, but as of now, we have zero clue who or what that MacGuffin may be? My main concern? We do not want another Jar Jar Binks here.
