It’s already February, and we have few to no details regarding the next entry of the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. For comparison, by November of 2014, we’d already seen a teaser of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which eventually released on December 18, 2015. In short, we’re about four months past that moment. Admittedly, it’s all a bit expected. The Force Awakens was the first flick of the franchise since 2005, and a continuation of a story fans have been waiting for for thirty years. By comparison, The Last Jedi is merely the next chapter, and as such, Disney and Lucasfilm need to save their cash monies for a date closer to its release.

But that hasn’t stopped eager fans like us from trying to pull details from every little scrap of information the studio releases — just look at all the theories that have popped up regarding the title alone! And we know thatwe’re not the only ones. Actor Josh Gad has been hard at work on behalf of fans like us, trying to lock down leaks from the source: Daisy Ridley herself. The actress, who made her Star Wars debut in The Force Awakens, is undoubtedly a bevy of information, and Gad has thus far (unsuccessfully), along with the likes of Dame Judi Dench, done his best to pry information from the Jedi.

If you thought Gad’s eternal quest for the truth was over, you’re sadly mistaken. Not only did he recently ambush Ridley yet again, but he did so with the help of some of his celebrity allies — some of whom have close ties to the Star Wars franchise themselves.

Take a look down below!

As you can see, Gad had quite the amount of backup with him this time around. In case you were unsure of everyone Ridley had to deal with, here’s a list of most everyone — though there were a couple even we couldn’t name:

  • Chris Pratt (Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2)
  • Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World)
  • Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World and Star Wars Episode IX)
  • Penelope Cruz (A million other movies)
  • J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens)
  • Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton)
  • Lucy Boynton (Sing Street)

Sadly, at the end of the day, not much has changed, and we still have few details on what to expect from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Given the number of folks Gad brought with him this time around, it’s doubtful that Ridley will budge any time soon.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
