The first synopsis for the upcoming animated series, Star Wars Resistance has found its way online. Along with a description of the first episode, which is titled, “The Recruit”, we learn the main character’s name, Kazuda “Kaz” Xiono. The news come the way of a Disney XD in Germany and then the synopsis was translated by Twitter user JediFlorian. You can check out all the juicy information below.
“Resistance fighter Poe Dameron tasks young pilot Kazuda “Kaz” Xiono with spying on the First Order. At the time, little was known about the secretive organization and its strength. In order to fulfill his mission, Kaz travels to the space station Colossus, which is being used by many ships as a port to refuel and do repairs. However, there are also dangerous races taking place there. After Kaz bragged with his piloting skills at his arrival there, he is soon drawn into one of the races…”

Star Wars Resistance, which will be set just be not long after the First Order first emerged. will be the third animated Star Wars series, joining the recently concluded Star Wars Rebels and the recently revived Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the return of which was announced last week during San Diego Comic-Con. Along with the two animated shows, also in the works in the first ever live-action Star Wars series from Jon Favreau, which is to be set seven years after Return of the Jedi.
