Star Wars: The Last Jedi Gets A Comic Book Adaptation With New Content

In an interesting move late last week, Marvel Comics announced the release of a six issue mini series of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The book will be written by Gary Whitta and Michael Walsh on artwork.

This book will retell the story from Rian Johnson’s film that was released in December, but Marvel is promising that it will contain never before seen content. The two covers that were released by Mike Del Mundo and Joe Quesada give us the notion that this book may be Luke and Ray centric, but we will have to wait and see for more details. Check them out below!

Here is the full press release from Marvel Comics:

Although I am a fan of the Star Wars franchise, this is one that I will probably skip. I would like to think that most of the important details were covered in the film. I doubt that there would be any shocking revelations that would make it worth reading.

What do you think of this mini series? worth your time? Let us know in the comment section below!

Marvel Comics’ Star Wars: The Last Jedi #1 hits stands May 2, 2018.
