Starz Releases A Three Minute Clip From Its Upcoming Second Season Of American Gods

The Twitter account of the Starz original series American Gods has released a 3-minute scene from the upcoming second season. This comes a few months before the show’s return in March. The scene features Mr. World (the ever creepy and talented Crispin Glover) and Technical Boy (Bruce Langley) arriving in a secluded, underground location known as Black Briar. Check out the tweet above to watch the scene.

When we last left our warring Gods, Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) and Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) had arrived at a party thrown by Easter (Kristin Chenoweth), the goddess of spring and resurrection who has allowed herself to be converted into the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. Confronted by Media (Gillian Anderson), Mr. World and Technical Boy, Wednesday finally reveals his true identity: the legendary and powerful Norse God Odin. Killing their henchmen with a lightning bolt, Odin calls upon Easter to unleash her power and take back the spring, creating a drought throughout America. While the scene presented in the tweet does not answer how Mr. World and Technical Boy escaped that situation, it does setup the growing conflict between the Old Gods and the American Gods.
