Stephen Amell Tweets Arrow Season 7 Poster

Previously on Arrow

For those of you who haven’t caught up on season 6 of Arrow, please stop reading this article, run to your couch, turn on your television and binge it now on Netflix. I’ll wait…

Okay, now that you’re caught up, you’re fully aware of where Season 6 left us. Team Arrow split up due to trust issues between Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his crew of vigilantes, but they eventually had to join forces in order to take down Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) and his corruptive power over Star City’s law enforcement and city officials. After many obstacles, including the forced return of past Team Arrow alumni and a city held hostage, Queen and his team were able to thwart Diaz with the help of the FBI… but not without a cost.

In order to stop Diaz and protect his team from being prosecuted by the authorities, Queen agreed to turn himself in and out himself as the Green Arrow. Moreover, Arrow lost a veteran on the series as Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) passed away on the operating table after being injured in battle. The season finale ends with Oliver Queen being locked up in max security, surrounded by those he helped put away.

Now, thanks to the Twitter account of one Stephen Amell, we’ve been given the poster for the upcoming season 7 of Arrow:

How long can we expect to see Oliver in prison? Is this a one episode thing or will we see multiple prison-based episodes like in the last season of The Flash? We’ll have to wait until October 15th to know for sure.
