Wax museums are creepy. I don’t think I’m taking any crazy stance by saying that. Not only is it weird that we have museums that look like celebrities, for some reason, but that dead look in their eyes puts the creations perfectly within the uncanny valley. With that in mind, it’s the perfect place for the kids from Stranger Things to surprise a bunch of unsuspecting fans.

In a new video from The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Fallon and the cast pose as wax statues while fans get brought in to take pictures in front of them. Of course, the “statues” don’t stay still for long, and hilarity ensues. You can check out the video below.

This is all in promotion of the upcoming season of the Netflix original series. The latest season takes place over the Fourth of July holiday, with the leads attending a carnival. Of course, things don’t stay quiet in Pawnee, Indiana for too long, and we end up in another supernatural-filled adventure that, I’m sure, will bring plenty of tragedy to the sleepy town.
