Most everyone has been critical of the DCEU movies that have been released so far, with complaints ranging from poor character development to uneven storylines. However, one thing that DC still, and will always do well with, is the comics themselves. Anytime they adapt one of the great comic stories into an animated film, like Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, they always seems to be entertaining and almost spot on to the books themselves.

This will most likely be the case on March 31, 2017, when The Judas Contract is released at WonderCon Anaheim in the Arena of the Anaheim Convention Center, and then on April 4th when it is released to video. A full picture of the team was just released which you can see in the header image, and check out the trailer here:

If you are unfamiliar with this book, it was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, and features my favorite villain (now anti-hero) Deathstroke, as he hunts the Teen Titans down one-by-one, and quickly makes short work of most of the team. The comic introduced Terra Markov, brother of Geo-Force, and she weilds earth based powers; such as shooting towers of rocks from the ground, or crushing enemies with flying boulders. She is the central element to this story, and I won’t spoil any details of her path, if you have not read the comic.

This book was also the first time that Dick Grayson adopted the Nightwing persona, even though he had already been going out on his on against Batman’s wishes. So one could expect a visit or two from Batman in this animated film as well.

The full roster in the picture above features; Terra Markov voiced by Christina Ricci, Nightwing voiced by Sean Maher, Starfire voiced by Kari Wahlgren, Blue Beetle voiced by Jake T. Austin, Raven voiced by Taissa Farmiga, and Beast Boy voiced by Brandon Soo Hoo.

The film will also feature Kid Flash, Damian Wayne, Sebastion Blood, Mother Mayhem, Kevin Smith as himself?, and of course Deathstroke who will be voiced by Miguel Ferrer.

What do you guys think? Any interest in seeing this? You should for Deathstroke alone!
