Terence Nance In Advanced Talks To Direct Space Jam 2

Back in November of 2016 an evil alien theme park owner named Swackhammer, voiced by Danny DeVito, attempted to kidnap the Looney Tunes and make them his newest attraction at Moron Mountain. But with the help of Michael Jordan and Bill Murry, they are able to fend off the greedy businessman.

Now almost 22 years later, Warner Bros. is in advanced talks with rising director Terence Nance to direct Space Jam 2 tentatively starring Lebron James according to TheWrap. He is the executive producer on HBO’s late night series Random Acts of Flyness. As an artist, musician and director he is best known for his feature film An Oversimplification of Her Beauty. This film premiered in 2012 as part of the New Frontier section at the Sundance Film Festival.

Lebron James has signed a production deal with Warner Bros. and the Space Jam sequel is being developed with him in mind. But before he becomes the official star of the film, he will have to approve the script. No word yet on which other basketball stars will cameo in the film or if we could possibly see Bill Murray. The original Space Jam film starring Jordan, grossed $230 million worldwide.
