CinemaCon has been a huge boon for movie fans this past week, with footage descriptions and first looks peeking around every corner. For us here at LRM Online, the big highlight was likely the stuff we saw for Joker…but that isn’t the only big property that was getting touted at the professional convention. We can’t forget that Paramount is also rebooting one mammoth franchise that has refused to die down.

I’m talking about the Terminator franchise. While it is the sixth film in the franchise, Terminator: Dark Fate will act as something as a soft reset, with everything after Terminator 2: Judgment day being eradicated from the canon. Returning for this film are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, reprising their respective roles. We’ve been shown one image in the past featuring the three female leads, but a new batch of images shows off a bit more.

The images from IGN show us Arnold Schwarzenegger returning as a rugged, older version of the Terminator himself. Linda Hamilton is shown wearing a vest. We see a couple of other characters, but most notably, we see Gabriel Luna as the new Terminator, walking in some military industrial setting. Finally, we also get to see Mackenzie Davis, who is one of the three female leads of the movie, and presumably is the face o the new franchise. In her shot, we see her swinging a chain.
