I’ve always enjoyed the work of the Wayans brothers, for the most part anyway. I was a big fan of In Living Color growing up as well as their films. It appears as if the Wayans brothers are working on a sequel to their 2004 film, White Chicks.
Actor Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) who played an NBA star in the original film, recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Next, Crews mentioned that he had spoke with Shawn Wayans and that the wheels were in motion, you can check out what Crews had to say below.
“I actually got with Shawn [Wayans] and he was like, ‘Man, we’re doing it, we’re getting it going. I’ve been working out for 15 years so I can do White Chicks 2, y’all! Please, please.”

The original film starred brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans as F.B.I. Agents undercover as caucasian women. And while audiences enjoyed it, critics did not. However, the film was very profitable, pulling in over $110 million on a budget under $40 million.
I thought the film was entertaining enough for what it set out to be, but definitely not the Wayans brothers best work in my opinion. The prosthetics were pretty bad, distracting, and really kinda took me out of the movie.
