Yesterday we had the trailer for the documentary The Empire Strikes Door which you can read all about here from LRM‘s worst writer and today we get the trailer for Empire Uncut, which uses shots of the iconic movie that were filmed by fans, then all edited together to make a very cool version of what most logical Star Wars fans consider to be the saga’s best installment *looks over at Jammer*.

The entire film is at the top of the article. I didn’t have time to watch the entire thing before writing this article (though I’m sure I will soon watch it in it’s entirety), I skimmed through it and there was some really neat-o stuff in there.

The Empire Strikes Back is the Godfather II of a galaxy far, far away, and it’s nice to see Disney embrace the fans in this manner after having issues with fan filmmakers in the past. The fanbase has always been one of, if not the most excitable fanbase around, and the fan contributions speak for themselves.
