The Flash Mid-Season Premiere Trailer Sees Nora Crippled

I’m admittedly a bit confused when it comes to some of these Flash trailers. Sure, they all look fun and all, but it is odd that in a trailer for the same episode it almost feels like we’re getting a completely different episode. In an earlier trailer that hit back on the second, it looked like the episode we saw was revolving around a stolen car.

Now, this new trailer looks to be all sorts of ambitious. Its focus doesn’t seem to be at all on the car, but more on the overarching storyline that hints a future where the Flash is gone. Things also seem to be getting much heavier, as Nora has seemingly been crippled by Cicada, this season’s villain. But that’s not all. It looks like Eobard Thawne is back — which is no surprise at this point, given that we know that fact already.

What is a bit of a surprise to me is that this feels more like a trailer for an entire half-season arc than it does for a single episode. It’s not a bad thing, but I wonder just how much they plan on packing into this upcoming episode, which will premiere this coming Tuesday at 8/7c.
