The Jay And Silent Bob Reboot Trailer. Watch It. Now.

It’s finally here, the obnoxiously over-the-top crudeness of Jay (who resembles a person that most all of us have known at one time or another) and his quiet companion, Silent Bob, return in the trailer for the reboot of what is perhaps the most vulgar arthouse film ever made, Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back.

I think it’s a great setup, both taking a jab at Hollywood’s willingness to remake films, while also utilizing the concept as an organic reason to tell another story featuring cinema’s dirty dynamic duo. Using its completely incorrect modern day definition, LITERALLY everyone is in this movie, everyone.

I’m not making any comparisons one way or the other, but a new Kevin Smith film is a treat similar to a new Taratino movie, simply because they have both carved out their own sort of genre with their films, and I say it appears Smith has taken his respective style and put it on a steroid regimen.

Hey Kevin Smith, you should have called this Jay and Silent Bob: Return of the Red Eye
