The Mandalorian: Ming-Na Wen Joins Disney+’s Star Wars Live-Action Series

The Mandalorian is easily Disney+’s highest-profile show. Audiences have been waiting for a live-action Star Wars show for years, and it’s finally here. Additionally, we know that Disney isn’t messing around. We have Jon Favreau at the head of it, with some major directors like Taika Waititi doing some work for it, and a great cast, which features Pedro Pascal and Carl Weathers.

At this year’s D23, during the Disney Legends panel, which our own James Burns was in attendance for, Disney CEO Bob Iger introduced another big actress: Ming-Na Wen. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star will be joining Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte, among others.

Unfortunately, Wen’s character was not revealed to audiences, but she is, without a doubt, in pretty enviable company. What sort of role do you see her playing in a galaxy far, far away? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
