Production on the third Jumanji film has wrapped. Work on the film began back in mid- February. Stars of the film, Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson both chose to commemorate the end of production by posting a video to their Instagram accounts.
First up, Kevin Hart, who may or may not bust out with some profanity toward the end of his video (ok he does, just a heads up for you folks). I’ve included both the Instagram post and the text, you can check them out below.
“That is a picture wrap on Jumanji… Wooooww where do I even start. This opportunity is an actual dream come true…You can’t plan for something like this to happen. It just happens… I am so thankful for this amazing cast… Our days are so much fun because of our chemistry… All of you are such good people and I honestly love you. Our movies pops on screen because we pop in person… Shout out to Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Dwayne Johnson… we did it guys…This movie will be bigger and better than our last one… Thank you to our wonderful director/Leader Jake Kasdan… you’re the real deal and deserve all of the success that is coming your way… Thank you to Tom Rothman & Sony Pictures for believing in us & funding this monster of a project… Thank you to Matt Tomach & all of our other producing partners that were involved & our amazing camera crew & crew in general. The Rock, as we know, has a different way of doing things. He gave a shout out to his fans as well as the cast and crew.
“Gotta tell ya after a long, long week of flying in and out for work daily and averaging 4hrs sleep a night and dog tired – surprises like these fans waiting by the jet to say goodbye means a helluva lot and has that powerful way of giving me energy and mana to keep on keepin’ on. 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was way better than anyone expected it to be. The nicely assembled cast worked well together to being us a story worthy of the mid-nineties classic which featured another memorable performance by the great Robin Williams. Moviegoers hope that The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan can capture that same spirit of fun and adventure once again. Joining the cast will be Danny Glover, and Danny DeVito, who will surely fit nicely with the solid four I mentioned above.
While the film is still untitled, Jumanji 3 hits theaters December 13
