The Twilight Zone Extended Trailer Hits!

The Twilight Zone is on its way back to the small screen, and it’s bringing a whole boatload of celebrities along with it. In the extended trailer alone for the new season, we see Adam Scott, Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Seth Rogen, Kumail Nanjiani, Tracy Morgan, and Chris O’Dowd, among many others. I mean, sure, they may not be the biggest celebrities out there, but it’s almost distracting how many recognizable faces there are.

Of course, earlier this week, we saw trailers for a couple individual episodes, and we get to see extra glimpses of those episodes in this trailer, in addition to many others in the upcoming season. While I’m not sure any of them look like they will extend to the weirdness we saw in the original series, the spirit of that show is alive and well here.

If you’ve somehow lived under the rock for the past several decades, The Twilight Zone is a revival of the original series. Each episode tells an odd story that is generally focused around some odd, logic-bending concept that ends in a deeply ironic fashion. The likes of M. Night Shyamalan, Black Mirror, and Jordan Peele (who acts as host of this show) were all inspired by the original series, and I can’t wait to see how they treat the concept in the 21st century.
