Did you ever feel like Titans Season 1 was lacking something a little… Super?
Lucky for you, The Wrap has reported that Titans Season 2 just cast Super… Boy!
That’s right, Australian actor Joshua Orpin will play Superboy, who will be a series regular, not just a cameo or single episode or whatnot.
This version of Superboy is said to be angsty and seeking purpose and the truth about his past. While on his quest for answers, he runs into the Titans finding an unlikely home and “family” as well answers that are far more complicated that what he bargained for.

Opran will be playing Connor Kent, the second iteration of Superboy from the comics. First seen in the 1992-1993 The Death of Superman crossover event, Conner is actually a clone meant to fill the void left by the apparent death of Superman. In the comics, Superboy thinks he is a clone of Superman himself, so in case this storyline is taken from the comics, I won’t spoil what he eventually learns.
This means the new lineup of Titans includes Robin, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, and now Superboy. That’s a pretty kick-ass team. Watch out criminals and supervillains, Superboy packs one hell of a punch!
