In a recent interview actor Tony Dalton confirms his character Swordsman returns to action in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Dalton only had a small role in Season 1 of the Daredevil Disney+ series however, it does make sense that he would be back. Given how Season 1 ended, with Swordsman (Jack Duquesne) being rescued by Punisher from Kingpin’s imprisonment, you’d expect him to be part of the fight back against Fisk.
Check out what Dalton had to say when he spoke to Josh Wilding recently. Time stamp 06:01 for the talk on Born Again Season 2.
The other interesting item mentioned by Dalton in relation to Daredevil is the fact he got injured. Dalton describes getting a rib injury and praised the effort going into the fight scenes, which he was clearly involved in.
It does seem like Matt and possibly Karen are building a resistance to Fisk. We know Jessica Jones returns, probably as a member of that resistance. Therefore, I would guess Swordsman is in the mix there as well, as a known vigilante.

That’s about all Dalton had to say about Daredevil, though he did talk about his new movie and some previous work in the interview.
What do you think as Tony Dalton confirms Sworsdman will return to action in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2? Are you looking forward to the second season of Born Again? Is it weird that since Hawkeye, Swordsman has had more MCU screen time than Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop?
