L.A. Comic Con runs this weekend Friday October 11th-Sunday October 13th at the Los Angeles Convention Center downtown. Many a cosplaying comic book or movie fan will be there, and if you should find yourself among them, here are some exciting panels to keep an eye out for:

1. Hellboy Reunion (Saturday 10/12 @ 3:00pm)- Hellboy and Abe Sapien actors Ron Perlman and Doug Jones will take to the L.A. Comic Con main stage to discuss making the 2004 Guillermo Del Toro directed comic book adaptation and its 2008 sequel. Expect plenty of war stories from the duo who had to endure untold hours in the makeup chair to play their fantastical characters.

2. X-Men: The Animated Series Reunion (Saturday 10/12 @ 11:00am)- Many of the voice actors from the 90s cartoon mainstay will be there to reminisce about the show. It’ll be nostalgia central for any 90s kid within earshot of this panel!

3. Through a Genre Lens- Horror Cinema in the New Era & The Films of SpectreVision with Elijah Wood (Saturday 10/12 @ 2:00pm)- The actor, best known for playing Frodo in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has been making quite a name for himself of late starring in and producing indie horror and sci-fi films, such as Cooties and Mandy. Here he and his producing partners discuss these and many more, including their upcoming releases Color Out of Space and Daniel Isn’t Real.

4. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot: Legion M presents Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (Saturday 10/12 @ 2:30pm)- If you’ve ever been lucky enough to see Kevin Smith hold court in Hall H at Comic-Con, you know you’re in for a treat as this foul-mouthed raconteur always has plenty of behind the scenes Hollywood tales to tell.

5. Dark/Web: A Sci-Fi Anthology Series (Sunday 10/13 @ 10:30am- Hosted by LRM Online’s very own Gig Patta, this panel will delve into what went into making the anthology sci-fi series, now available on Amazon Prime, with the show’s cast and crew.
