Trailer For Augmented Reality Game Jurassic World Alive Arrives

A trailer for the augmented reality game, Jurassic World Alive has been released. The game, which will be in the same vein as Pokemon Go brings the dinosaurs of the films to life through your phone, which is probably as close as we will get to visiting the real Jurassic Park until scientists get that whole DNA thing worked out. The game will follow the same basic format as Pokemon Go as the dinosaurs will appear on an in-game map on your smartphone.

The game will be a nice accompaniment for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which is set to be released in a just a few months, June 22 of this year to be exact. While the trailer didn’t provide a specific release date, the game is expected to be released this spring. Developed by Ludia Games, Jurassic World Alive is available for pre-register in the play store.

I like the idea of the augmented reality, while I don’t have much time to partake in video games anymore, I am still a gamer at heart. Since I’m not big on smartphone games, I will probably wait for the announced Jurassic World console game, as that is more my platform of choice.
