Trailer: Jurassic World Evolution Will Let You Build Your Own Dino-Themed Park

Life finds a way, and very soon, it will be finding a way under your own supervision. One of the joys of the original Jurassic Park was that sense of wonder you had as a child when faced with something visually impressive. As we get older, that feeling is lost, but there was something in that film that managed to speak to multiple generations of film lovers.

While Jurassic World managed to be a great deal of fun for many moviegoers, it still doesn’t provide that same sense of wonder we had for that first movie. Perhaps with the game Jurassic World Evolution, they will be able to bring back some of that whimsy. In the new video game, audiences will be able to make their own dino-themed park, Sim City-style.

Here’s what the description for the game says:

“Build your own Jurassic World, bioengineer new dinosaur breeds, and construct attractions, containment, and research facilities. Every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when ‘life finds a way.’ “

I’m not sure how the dinosaurs breaking out of their enclosures plays into the game, but it looks like you’re not careful, your dinosaurs could also start terrorizing the guests. I’m fairly certain it’ll be our jobs to make sure that doesn’t happen, but I know many of us will play this game with the simple goal of terrorizing as many guests as possible.

Jurassic World Evolution is available for pre-order on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
