Trailer: Tom Holland And Chris Pratt Go On An Adventure In Pixar’s Onward

Pixar has always been a wonderful bringer of original concepts, but over the past several years, in addition to those ideas, they’ve brought in quite a few sequels along the way. Among those sequels were Monsters UniversityToy Story 3Cars 3, and Incredibles 2. For the foreseeable future, however, after this summer’s Toy Story 4, we will be getting mostly original projects, starting with Onward, which stars Chris Pratt and Tom Holland.

Pixar has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming fantasy, and in it, we see a sort of fantasy world…but set in the modern day. It’s not a bad concept, and I’m sure Pixar will do great things with it, but it does feel something a bit more up Dreamsworks’ alley, and it certainly doesn’t help that the advertise the cast at the end…but given the studio’s track record, I’ll definitely give it a chance.

Below is the official synopsis for Onward:

“Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney and Pixar’s “Onward” introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there. Pixar Animation Studios’ all-new original feature film is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae—the team behind “Monsters University.” “Onward” releases in theaters on March 6, 2020.”
