Tully: Ron Livingston and Mark Duplass on Night Nanny (Exclusive Interview)

Night nanny is an interesting dilemma for many parents.

In this crazy and busy world, parents want to be a constant in every moment of the children’s lives. Then again, parents do need to take a breather from the feeding, cleaning, crying and everything else.

In Tully, it tackles the darkest side of parenting when there is a need for a parenting break. A night nanny can fill in that role.

In the script by Diablo Cody (Juno, Young Adult), it revolves around a mother of three including a newborn—who was gifted a night nanny by her brother. Hesitant at first, Marlo (Charlize Theron) accepts the nanny and develops a unique bond with Tully, the nanny.

The film also stars Mackenzie Davis, Ron Livingston and Mark Duplass.

LRM Online had a sit-down interview with Ron Livingston and Mark Duplass. We talked about the topic of night nannies in this first part of the interview. The second part of the interview will be published next week.

Tully will be in theaters on May 4th.
