Ever since Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters, fans have been eager to get a first look at the yet to be titled sequel, Avengers 4.

It was rumored that fans would be treated to just that when Disney took over the stage at CineEurope in Barcelona on Wednesday to give a presentation on all of the upcoming films slated to be released by their studios. The scene in question was said to be a brief one, featuring Ant-Man talking to Iron Man.

Although Marvel showed footage from the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp in addition to a sizzle reel featuring Captain Marvel, fans were disappointed to find out that the footage from Avengers 4 wasn’t footage at all.

Instead, it was a talking head video that featured Kevin Feige sitting in a chair, sharing a few details about the upcoming film, apologizing to advertisers for providing them with less characters to advertise, and engaging in some mansplaining behavior by stating the remaining characters would need to band together in order to save the universe from Thanos.

That was it! Not even a hint of official footage was presented during the showcase.

Given that Avengers: Infinity War is still in theaters and Avengers 4, is nearly a year away from being released, the lack of footage shouldn’t be too surprising. Instead, fans will have to be content with the illegally obtained footage and legally obtained photos, news, and concept art that has been released thus far.

Are you disappointed that there has been no footage of Avengers 4 yet? When do you think it will arrive?
