As of yet, we still do not have any MCU shows that have appeared on Disney+ so far, but then, it has only launched this month. The first out the gate seems to be Falcon and the Winter Soldier and other than a few BTS shots from filming we have not seen too much. Hawkeye is another show coming to Disney+ but it isn’t due to hit the streaming service until Fall 2021, and yet, there is a post out there claiming to be the opening sequence of the upcoming series.

As said, there is no music to accompany it, and there’s a reason for it. This “opening” was ulled from the Disney+ special Expanding the Universe and was utilized to introduce Jeremy Renner on stage at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. While there is a possibility this will actually get used, you never really know, as we have a couple of years until it actually hits. Assuming this is it (as MCU Direct claims) feels almost like a 70’s vibe with the visuals, so I guess I am imagining some 70’s style theme tune for this in my head. It’s not long, but we get to see both Hawkeye and Kate Bishop, who we expect to take on the Hawkeye mantel in the MCU as it progresses.
I guess it will be some time yet before we find out any further details about this series, its plot and who the antagonists are? I do hope for a spy feel to this one, but the genre is unclear at this point. The lack of any details probably makes this less exciting to me so far, but I expect as we find out more, my anticipation levels will also increase as we move closer to the air date.
