Wanna See Something F***ed Up? See The Teaser From The Guillermo Del Toro-Produced Film Antlers

Guillermo is a curator of all things messed up and creepy. It’s because of him that many were introduced to the film The Orphanage and that the latest Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark actually got made. Now, there’s a new story that itches to be told in the eerie little movie, Antlers, which just had a new teaser drop this morning.

The film is directed by Hostiles and Black Mass helmer Scott Cooper, and it stars Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons. In the teaser, we hear a terrible story from Russell’s character’s student, and from that, we are treated to a whole boatload of grotesque imagery. Check out the trailer below!

Below is the official synopsis for Antlers:

“In ANTLERS, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.”

I’ll admit, I have no idea what’s going on here, but it certainly does have my interest. The screenplay for Antlers is written by C. Henry Chaisson & Nick Antosca and Scott Cooper. It is based on the short story “The Quiet Boy” by Nick Antosca.
