Nostalgia is one hell of an attention-grabber. We may criticize Hollywood for their over-reliance on old properties, but the fact is that there is some sort of rumbling that it opens up in our very souls. When we see something from our childhoods, it’s hard not to at least take a look out of simple curiosity. It’s how shows like Fuller House managed to survive over on Netflix.

Apparently, WarnerMedia has become aware of that old TGIF comedy’s success and is looking to replicate it for their new streaming service, which is currently still wanting for content, as far as we can tell. Here’s what they’re planning, according to Deadline.

The outlet states they are eyeing to resurrect classics such as Step by Step, Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, and Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper. As of this writing, they are still in the exploratory stages, so there is no plan set in stone just yet, but at the very least, they’re probing for overall interest. 

Apparently, WarnerMedia is hoping for comedy to take center stage in their service, so churning out a bunch of relatively cheap sitcoms doesn’t sound like a half-bad idea. But is it one audiences will take to? What do you think? Does any of this interest you? Let us know your thoughts down below!
