You may have seen today that actor Warwick Davis is very likely returning to the Star Wars franchise in the upcoming final installment into the nine-film saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Coincidentally, the actor is part of another franchise, and it seems its one he would very much like to return to as well.

That franchise would be the wildly popular and wonderful Harry Potter. Davis played the goblins Griphook and Flitwick in the Potter series. The actor recently spoke with Daily Express and talked about the possibilities of returning to the wizarding world, you can check it out below.

“I’d love a chance to do it, it just hasn’t cropped up. Yet, I’d like to say, I’d love to be able to dip into that side of the wizarding world. Of course, there are many characters in there and it would be nice if I was able to play. There’s certain crossovers as well. So, characters that I’ve already played could cross over into those stories. It’s up to J.K. Rowling, really. I’ll have a word when I next see her.”

I would be all for this, and I imagine for the overwhelming majority of fans, Davis’ return to the Harry Potter series would be more than welcome. Some might even say the franchise could use this sort of jolt as the last film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, was met with mediocre feelings.
